Mark Wahlberg has been part of many popular films, so it is easy to deduce that people love his performances; however, if you give a dekko to his filmography, you’ll realize that he has not been able to come up with many performance-oriented roles in his films. In fact, there are films that he just sleepwalked in, say Boogie Nights!
Most of the films required him to look suave and stylish. In films like The Departed and The Perfect Storm, all he did was scream a lot. That hardly did much good for his career.
Wahlberg’s career is full of films that are hardly funny and he hardly has great chemistry with his co-stars too. Even M. Night Shyamalan couldn’t exploit his sensitive side in his film, The Happening.
